Ceasefire

"The Israeli government on Sunday accepted UN terms for a ceasefire that would involve the deployment of a UN force of up to 15,000 troops in southern Lebanon to help enforce the truce. Both Israel and Hizbollah, however, have said they would respond to any violation of truce by other side. Resolution 1701 does not make the disarming of Hizbollah a prerequisite for a ceasefire. In 2004’s resolution 1559, the international community had called for all militias in Lebanon to be disarmed. Peacekeepers have said they will only enter southern Lebanon if they and the Lebanese army are the only armed groups. Diplomatic efforts were on Sunday focused on planning a UN force of up to 15,000 troops that is to be deployed alongside a similar-sized Lebanese army presence once the fighting ends. "

There are no winners in wars; only losers. Both sides in any conflict suffer losses. The question is not who won the most but who lost the least."

  1. I totally agree about no winners in wars. I really dont know what it will solve. Diplomatic discussions should be considered first. Our leaders are either proud, selfish or impatient. That is why war happens.

  3. "There are no winners in wars; only losers. Both sides in any conflict suffer losses. The question is not who won the most but who lost the least."

WELL SAID BRO! Nothing to add...

  5. trojan war. world war. tsk.

Anyway. There are rumors that somehow: if the world begins in the Middle East (in Israel, specifically - but I do not know where's the Garden of Eden) it will END in Middle East.

    But that's fallacy! Definitely.

Wars. There are no losers and winners, tama ka naman. Lahat ng sinabi mo - sang-ayon ako.

All we need, is to promise to ourselves not to let it happen.

  7. end of the world na pala

  9. Hindi ako sumasang-ayon. Mayroong mananalo at mayroong matatalo.
