Why Kindness needs Boundaries..

The biggest mistake nice people make is believing that kindness changes everyone. It doesn’t. Some people don’t see your kindness as kindness. They see it as permission. Permission to ignore you, permission to disrespect you, permission to use you. Until one day you realize the problem wasn’t that you were too kind. The problem was you were kind to people who never respected it.  Kindness is powerful but only when it is protected by boundaries.
